Results of a Standard Criminal Record Check

Please be aware that the results presented in Fastkey reports adhere to the three standard responses specified in the Dissemination of Criminal Record Information policy.

When you receive the report for a name-based Criminal Record Check, there are three potential outcomes:

Negative:
- The candidate did not disclose any criminal convictions.
- Our check did not uncover any criminal convictions.

Confirmation of a Criminal Record:
- The candidate disclosed one or more criminal convictions.
- Our check confirmed the accuracy of the candidate's disclosure.

Incomplete:
- The candidate did not disclose any criminal convictions, but our check found one or more criminal convictions.
- Our check couldn't be completed using the candidate's name and date of birth, and it is advisable for the candidate to undergo a fingerprint check.
- The candidate disclosed one or more criminal convictions, but our check did not uncover any criminal convictions.
- The candidate disclosed one or more criminal convictions, but our check discovered criminal convictions that don't match what the candidate disclosed.

In such cases, it could be due to:

- The candidate revealing only some of the found criminal convictions.
- The candidate disclosing more criminal convictions than were found.
- Discrepancies in details such as name, date, or court location for the disclosed criminal convictions.

Please note that the candidate's provided dates must be accurate within a two-year window to be considered a match.
