Can a Fastkey Criminal Record Check be used for things like a Vulnerable Sector Check or immigration and visa applications?

Can a Fastkey Criminal Record Check be used for things like a Vulnerable Sector Check or immigration and visa applications?

No, Fastkey does not provide Vulnerable Sector Checks. Our criminal record checks do not include convictions from the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) or U.S. Customs. As a result, Fastkey checks may not be suitable for immigration, visa, or Vulnerable Sector purposes.

If you require a Vulnerable Sector Check or a background check for immigration or visa purposes, you will need to visit your local police station and undergo fingerprinting. These types of checks must be completed in person through the appropriate law enforcement agency.
